  • Overview

    The purpose of this role is to provide support and assistance in managing the client’s business and to keep day to day activities running smoothly. May supervise a graduate


    Client Service:

    • Works with Supervisor and others to develop and implement plans, build relationships and lead client thinking while incorporating internal shared services, including creative and content development, digital and social and training
    • Recommends solutions that help build the client’s business
    • Manages client communication for project initiatives
    • Leads creative services in tying project execution back to the client’s objectives and creative brief
    • Develops communications materials for internal or external audiences
    • Manages third-party vendors on behalf of client
    • Ensures quality management
    • Other duties may vary, e.g., research, public speaking, event planning

    Media Relations:

    • Builds relationships with national media outlets in priority verticals including food, beauty, and lifestyle. This will include staffing interviews and entertaining media
    • Develops and manages execution of strategic media plans
    • Manages pitch teams for wide local outreach
    • Works within agency tools (i.e. Cision) to build and maintain media lists and track for coverage
    • Pitches media daily
    • Pre-existing media relationship a plus

    Project Management:

    • Partners with Supervisor to ensure successful execution of initiatives and delivers results to meet or exceed objectives
    • Manages project timelines and trackers to ensure timely results for clients
    • Oversees work flow for client projects on a daily basis
    • Travel for client work is required
    • Other duties as assigned


    • BA or BS in the field of communications (PR / journalism / advertising / etc.)
    • 3-5 years experience in the field of communications, client service and internal communications
    • Experience working with media
    • Familiarity using and managing social media preferred
    • Project management/agency traffic experience
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities
    • Comfortable in a very fast-paced and changing environment
    • Reliable, highly organized, deadline and detailoriented, ability to anticipate client needs and react accordingly
    • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment, as well as handle work independently
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Familiarity with AP style
    • Competence with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
