    The Director of Marketing will successfully building and promote the agency in close partnership with Executive Management and the Business Development team by providing innovative, strategic marketing plans that promote the agency's brand and offerings. This position will manage the editorial process and ensure that all messages and content are relevant to the target audiences. This role is responsible for infusing the brand messaging, tonality and actions throughout the content and authentically reflecting the agency's brand perspective and attitudes.

    • Develops strategic marketing plans and core assets, such as case studies, biographies, white papers and thought leadership studies in partnership with Business Development, Content, Insights, Digital and Client Service teams.
    • Supports the development, branding and marketing of agency products and services.
    • Leads content marketing for agency to drive visibility and lead generation. . Ensures the agency website is constantly refreshed and updated with information, examples, case studies, biographies, etc. Ensures the content is correctly presented and is on-strategy, logically placed, comprehensible and appropriate to the target audience. Sets KPIs, measures and optimizes marketing performance and oversees online search optimization program for the agency, including tagging content and identifying key words to be used in paid and organic search.
    • Collaborates with in-house producers, writers, designers and digital/social teams regularly to create content; identifies opportunities to publicize the agency (new clients, new team members, new work assignments or team member opportunities, etc.) Maintains agency profile pages on social media. Also collaborates with Dentsu Aegis Network on projects and initiatives that align with agency marketing and communications; serves as main contact for marketing integration and reporting projects
    • Manages an editorial calendar of content across mediums (social channels, websites, PR, broadcast/video, events, etc.) and identifies new content program areas. Selects and evaluates content; maintains content inventory.
    • Develops the agency’s thought leadership content for internal and external channels.
    • Identifies and supports key agency events and participation of leaders at conferences or online activities.
    • Spearheads entries in industry competitions and award shows
    • Handles the administration of the Marketing department and its personnel, including annual marketing budget.


    • A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English or related field.
    • A minimum of 7 years of experience working in marketing, outreach, communications or editorial
    • Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive, leadership, content experience and understanding of the advertising, creative and brand positioning landscape
    • Must be an experienced and highly competent writer who can quickly modify a piece of content or creative for use in multiple channels in various formats
    • Outstanding communication skills and professionalism
    • Expert level attention to detail, as well as strong organizational and communication skills needed to maintain brand integrity and dialogue with users
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Must have an understanding of design and information architecture with regards to content strategy
    • Must have content development and editorial calendar planning experience
